Following a second successful year at the Corby Cube in April 2023, Rutland Musical Theatre returns to its new home in an altogether more spooky guise.

The Addams Family is a spectacular musical comedy from the writers of multi award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. Based on The Addams Family characters created by Charles Addams in his single-panel gag cartoons, which depict a ghoulish American family with an affinity for all things macabre.

Rutland Musical Theatre's production will take to the stage from Wednesday 10th April - Saturday 13th April 2024 at Corby Cube Theatre.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents, with hilarious consequences!

With all the well-known kooky characters such as Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley and more, this is a heart-warming story of love, family and friendship… with a twist!
